Congregation Beit Shalom 

A warm and haimishah group of dedicated families and individuals who enjoy participating in and building Jewish life & community in Visalia.

We strive to bring joy and Jewish learning to Visalia by providing  professional rabbinic services, cultural, and educational programming to our community.

We up-build Jewish living by hosting weekly Shabbat Torah Services, Kabbalat Shabbat Dinners, & frequently schedule a night for Jewish Film, Women's Gatherings, Jewish Book Club, and Havdallah observances.

We celebrate and observe all the holidays: High Holidays, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Tu B'Shvat, Purim, Passover, Yom HaShoah, Israeli Independence Day, & Shavuot. 

We provide religious school education as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvah Training. There is an avid interest in learning Hebrew.  We have an ongoing  Hebrew language class &  Introduction to Judaism class.

There is rabbinic sponsorship for those interested in conversion
to the Jewish faith.
